10th Anniversary Gala Film Honoring Danny Meyer
Prepared for Emma's Torch by Axios Productions
The film will use archival footage, photographs, interviews, and new B-roll to celebrate Emma’s Torch’s first ten years, honor Danny Meyer and the partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group, and encourage continued support. During development, we will determine how a graduate’s firsthand perspective will be incorporated into the story.
Tell the story of Emma’s Torch’s first ten years through archival material and newly filmed footage.
Recognize Danny Meyer and the role of Union Square Hospitality Group in the organization’s story.
Include the voice of an Emma's Torch graduate to bring a personal, firsthand perspective to the organization's impact.
We will combine candid interviews, working-kitchen B-roll, and archival material from the past ten years.
Danny Meyer and the partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group will provide important context, while a graduate’s firsthand perspective will help demonstrate Emma’s Torch’s impact. The final participant and role will be determined collaboratively during development.

The project fee includes one primary filming day at the Carroll Gardens Café, additional B-roll of a graduate working at a restaurant, and a Zoom or in-person pickup interview with Danny Meyer. The interview format and filming schedule will be determined during pre-production based on participant availability.
Confirm the story, participants, archival material, production schedule, and venue requirements. Determine how a graduate’s experience will be incorporated and how the Danny Meyer interview will be recorded.

All coverage described above is included in the $15,000 project investment. The final schedule and interview format will be confirmed during pre-production based on participant availability.
The final schedule depends on participant availability, timely access to archival material, and consolidated client feedback. Venue specifications will be confirmed with Gala Productions and 583 Park during pre-production.
Final participants will be selected collaboratively during development based on the approved story and availability.
The film will be delivered for the gala and for continued use in fundraising, donor communications, and organizational storytelling.
